A native of San Diego and graduate of UC Santa Barbara, April brings a rare authenticity to her writing as a former U.S. Army Paratrooper. Her military background shapes the tactical realism, leadership dynamics, and strategic depth found throughout the worlds she creates.

Originally from Southern California and traveling between her residences in San Diego and Las Vegas, April enjoys her time traveling, exploring new literary inspirations, her live author events at conventions and bookstores, and most of all, time spent with her family and friends.
